Women Empowerment
Introduction:
Women are the backbone of society, yet many face barriers to education, employment, and equal opportunities. At DR BHIM RAO AMBEDKAR DHARMARTH NYAS ELLENABAD, we believe that empowering women is key to building strong, progressive communities. Inspired by Dr. Ambedkar’s advocacy for women’s rights, our trust works to equip women with the skills, resources, and confidence they need to achieve independence. We aim to create an environment where women are respected, valued, and given equal access to opportunities.
Activities:
Our women empowerment programs focus on vocational training, micro-entrepreneurship, and awareness about rights and legal protections. We provide training in tailoring, handicrafts, food processing, and other income-generating skills. Women are given access to sewing machines, raw materials, and marketing assistance to start their own businesses. We also organize health awareness workshops, financial literacy sessions, and leadership training to build self-confidence. Legal awareness camps help women understand their rights related to property, domestic violence, and workplace equality.
Impact:
This initiative has transformed the lives of countless women by enabling them to earn an income, support their families, and participate actively in community decision-making. Many women who were once financially dependent are now contributing to household expenses and even running their own enterprises.
